Guest Book entries are restricted to 700 characters, so I couldn't explain this in your Guest Book. John Stephen Veitch
On a previous page I explained why many Ryze newbies last only TWO DAYS. (If you missed that it's here.)
I can't help you. I can tell you what you need to do, but I can't unlock the door for you: you have the key.
If you come to Ryze with high expectations and a lot of ideas about advertising, or selling things, or promoting yourself. No matter what I say, if you think I'm wrong, that's the end of the story. So it's up to you. Are you coachable or not?
A Ryze member with no friends, who joined zero networks "disappears". Nobody can visit your page because nobody can find it. (Nobody but you that is. Count your homepage hits. If you are active you should be getting more than one a day.)
People can only share a network with you, if you join the networks where they are already members. YOU can join up to 60 networks to discover who else is on Ryze. You'll find out what they are talking about. Moreover network members can then write to you, and easy communication is possible.
Too often it's a FREE PASS not understood and neglected. I know the incentive to join a lot of networks now, is weak. You know nobody, and you are not involved in the discussion. Maybe you are not interested. You have to overcome that inertia. Other people are not going to come to you, you MUST go to where they are. You'll find other people in the networks. If you participate there, they will also find you.
Now you know what to do. Join many networks. (Don't worry, it's still free.) Please take full advantage of what I've told you. There is much more to learn, but if you join those networks and do a little reading, you'll soon discover all the other things you need to know.
Here is the Networks page of Ryze. You can join up to 60 networks, but most newbies find that too many, so try at least TEN, and join more if you like.
Since I took the time to tell you this, perhaps you'll look with favour on one of my own networks, Social networking Newbies. Even if you don't feel like a newbie, there is lots to learn there. There are good reasons to do that. Last month, the people joining Social Networking Newbies were getting three times as many homepage hits (810), twice as many guest book entries (88) and joined almost twice as many networks (175), as a comperable group who did not become members.
Success on Ryze is easy but it does demand a little work. That's best done for a short time every day. Social networking Newbies is the right place to learn what else you need to do.
Take time to explore Ryze. You won't regret it. This link takes you back to the Ryze Networks page. Remember join at least 10. Spend the next month learning what you can from those networks. Make good use of your "Free Pass".
If you've joined Ryze you should also be a member of LinkedIn. You can find out about being a Newbie at LinkedIn here.
